His favorite pastime growing up in Canada was to disappear into the bush of Northern Ontario with a canoe and fishing rod. Years of college research and teaching in the sciences led to a job generating video for online courses at America's premiere regional university, ETSU. Now, he divides his time between development of web-based instructional media and farm life in an isolated area of southwest Virginia. 

David has written a series of Books entitled The Burn Rose.
